Choose Your Date & Time Slot
Entry is by timed slot and the site regularly sells out, so book ahead. Your ticket is valid only for the date and time printed on it, and the last entry slot is 4pm from April to September and 3pm from October to March.
Select Your Tickets
Choose adult, child, senior or student tickets; infants under 5 go free. Every ticket includes the audio guide, available in eight languages, with a separate family version for younger visitors.
Complete the Purchase
Check out for instant confirmation. Print your e-ticket and bring the printed copy to the ticket office at the Clive Steps entrance — a printout is required. Tickets cannot be cancelled or changed once booked.
What Your Ticket Includes
Entry to the Cabinet War Rooms and the Churchill Museum, and the audio guide in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Hebrew or Mandarin. Food and drink and entry to other Imperial War Museums sites are not included.
Age Recommendations
Infants under 5 go free and child tickets cover ages 5 to 15. Anyone under 16 needs to be accompanied by someone aged 18 or over. Visitors under 12 are given a family version of the audio guide.
Best Time to Attend
The corridors are narrow and the first slots of the day are the calmest. The last entry slot is 4pm from April to September and 3pm from October to March, so a late booking leaves little room to see everything.
Facilities
There is a café and a shop on site, and the whole route is underground, with no natural light and no re-entry once you leave. Bring only what you need: the corridors are tight and there is no room for large bags.
Accessibility
The site is wheelchair accessible throughout, although the narrowest corridor is 68 cm wide and the tightest corner turns through 90 degrees. Descriptive guides are available for visitors with a visual impairment, and a disabled visitor ticket with a free carer ticket requires proof of disability.

Two hours is the usual guide: about an hour walking the bunker corridors with the audio guide, and another in the Churchill Museum that sits halfway round the route. Visitors who read every panel can easily spend twice that.
The route is one way and there is no re-entry, so see everything in one go. Entry is by timed slot and the doors close at 6pm, with the last slot released at 4pm from April to September and 3pm from October to March.
